As such, they will need to know how to edit. The following is a concise how-to.
This web site runs a software known as WordPress. Most web sites on the Internet run it. As a new volunteer, you don’t need to know much about it.
Important
- Know the difference between Pages and Posts:
- a Post is writing that ends up on the site’s blog. On this site, ‘Posts’ and ‘News’ fall under this category. Volunteers are not allowed to create/edit/delete Posts or News.
- a Page is writing that is outside the site’s blog. Volunteers work on their own Pages.
