Work Log: Preparation of web site and forum. Till 28 Sep 2024.

A partial record of the work that got carried out by me to create the new web-site and the forum.

  • Saturday 28 September 2024: All the work for this project has now been moved to the new forum. No further updates are expected to be made to this page.
  • Friday 27 September 2024: A new server has now been set up, to move the work from AAIRIA to SecularIran.org.
  • Tuesday 24 September 2024: Mitra submits a document, for Task MA3.
  • Monday 23 September 2024: Planning a new server, for the volunteers.
  • Sunday 22 September 2024: Created the instructional videos planned on 17 Sep.
  • Saturday 21 September 2024: First volunteer. Mitra selects Task MA3.
  • Friday 20 September 2024: Waiting for NGO credentials to be processed by a social network.
  • Thursday 19 September 2024: Lots of research+configuration work on a social network, and preparation for that. Lots of work, and research+configuration, on the servers, particularly with respect to the volunteers.
  • Wednesday 18 September 2024: Work on the web site.
  • Tuesday 17 September 2024: Planned an instructional video, in detail. More work on the web site, especially the task list’s tasks. New set-up for a social media account.
  • Monday 16 September 2024: Testing a contact-form. Researching social-media accounts, for management facilities. Tested volunteer-users and roles.
  • Sunday 15 September 2024: Continuing the planning for the volunteers, including roles and on-boarding. Web site work.
  • Saturday 14 September 2024: Planning the procedures, and organization, of volunteers’ work and work-spaces. Investigated President Biden’s “delegation” announcement.
  • Friday 13 September 2024: Further planning, research, and work, for the ad. A different proposal for emails & contact-forms.
  • Thursday 12 September 2024: Looked into alternate servers. Continued investigating MLs. Planning email changes.
  • Wednesday 11 September 2024: Work on the web site; added a plugin. Further investigation of email configuration. Looked into Firefox Relay. Created the task list.
  • Tuesday 10 September 2024: Work on the web site. Planning the processes for the volunteers. Investigating email configuration & plans; email tests.
  • Monday 9 September 2024: Work on the web site and the hand-out.
  • Saturday 7 September 2024: Preparing hand-outs for the 2nd anniversary of Mahsa’s murder. Various web-site plans & work. Work on the upcoming ads.
  • Thursday 5 September 2024: Ongoing planning.
  • Wednesday 4 September 2024: Planning for the volunteers’ infrastructure.
  • Tuesday 3 September 2024: Ongoing planning.
  • Monday 2 September 2024: Installed another contact-form plugin. Tested different contact forms. Checked existing plugins.
  • Sunday 1 September 2024: Ongoing planning.
  • Friday 30 August 2024: Tackled various issues on the web site.
